Join the free Middle Level Summit and the Western Pennsylvania Leadership Collaborative on October 23, 2026, at Ryan Gloyer Middle School in the Seneca Valley School District for a high-impact day focused exclusively on the unique needs of today’s middle level students and educators. Nationally recognized middle level expert, author, and humorist Jack Berckemeyer will headline the event, bringing his research-based, practical, and engaging approach to understanding adolescents, strengthening classroom practices, and building effective middle school teams. The Summit will also feature district team breakout sessions specifically designed for middle level educators and administrators, along with timely strategies and best practices addressing current trends in instruction, student mental health and well-being, assessment, teaming, and middle level leadership. It will be an opportunity for entire district teams to learn together, collaborate with colleagues from across the region, and leave with practical ideas they can immediately put into action.
The year, PAMLE is joining forces with the Pennsylvania Association of Student Assistance Professionals (PASAP) to hold our annual conference on February 21-23 at The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center in State College. Check back soon for details about registration and accommodation.
We are now accepting presentation proposals for this year's conference. Submit a proposal today! Presenter applications will be reviewed up to October 1st and accepted presenters will be notified by mmancini@pamle.org. Presenters must register for the conference by December 1st. Presenters who do not register by this date may be removed from the conference schedule.
