PAMLE is offering a free webinar on Wednesday, September 9 from 7:00 – 8:00 PM on Zoom, entitled “Supporting Students’ Social/Emotional Development!!”

Guest speakers include Amber Chandler a National Board Certified ELA teacher.  She was the recipient of the 2018 AMLE Educator of the Year Award. She is an author as well as a blogger. She was awarded the NoVo Foundation’s SEL in Action grant for two years.  In addition, she is a member of the AMLE Board of Trustees and is a middle school teacher in the Frontier Central SD in New York.  Dr. Judy Brough who is an international middle level consultant and recipient of AMLE’s John Lounsbury Award and Devin Layton, Ed.D who is currently the Assistant Principal at Springton Lake MS in Media, PA in charge of developing their SEL curriculum.  She has 17 years of experience at the middle level as both a counselor and assistant principal.  She has worked in affluent as well as both middle and lower income settings and has supported students at the collegiate level with academic and mental health advising for the past 12 years.
