Did you remember to spring ahead this morning?! We were researching the history of Daylight Savings Time (DST) this week and were surprised to learn that although the adoption of the current DST is just roughly 100 years old, similar practices were adopted by ancient civilizations thousands of years ago. To align daily routines with solar time, for instance, Roman water clocks featured several weights for the various months of the year.

DST in the United States was originally adopted to conserve energy and make better use of daylight. Today, DST can feel as though it was created for the sole purpose of disrupting the sleep/wake cycle. Learn more about the history of DST here!

In honor of the welcoming of longer, brighter, warmer days, we are offering 30% off our pre-recorded spring yoga classes as well as 30% off the beloved ChildLight baseball cap & all baby rompers! Click the images below and use the code SPRING30 at check-out.
