Is there a difference between Yoga for Athletes and Yoga for Physical Education Teachers? Is there a difference between a person going to practice for a sport they love and a student going to a physical education class? The answer to both questions is YES!! Playing a sport is voluntary and participating in physical education is not. Many physical educators are challenged to find an activity that everyone can do. Yoga is a lifelong physical activity that everyone can benefit from for a lifetime.
I am so excited to share this training after teaching yoga in my physical education classes for years. I have found a successful model that my students love.
This course highlights all of the values that we PE teachers encompass such as best practices for teaching in the gym setting, and how to create refined lesson plans for each grade level while simultaneously teaching them the basics of fitness. Your athletic students will love yoga because they know that many professional athletes are incorporating it into their training. Students that do not enjoy playing sports enjoy yoga because they feel successful through this inclusive practice. Yoga is truly a great activity that can be modified for all types of learners.
Join me LIVE Online on Thursday, July 20th for Yoga for Physical Education Teachers!
