Our donors collaborate with us in order to shape and develop the future generation so that they may successfully move forward to the future. The Foundation is an IRS tax-exempt 501c3 organization that has developed and executed cross curricular educational programs and resources for schools since 2003. Explore.Act.Tell Program & Student Challenge is aProject Based Learning Program that teaches students to become aware of food insecurity issues in their neighborhoods and work on solutions. If students are already working on projects on this topic, these lessons will provide a project framework.
This program is fully funded by ACME Markets and is FREE to all educators and students in the state of Pennsylvania.Students practice skills needed to become good citizens and advocate for community involvement and service. At the end, they create a Public Service Announcements to share their work and enter our student challenge where they can win $5,000. to support a charity of choice that is involved in food insecurity solutions.
